This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit innovaltion.ai or contact InnovaLtion.

Who is responsible for your data?

InnovaLtion is the data controller for personal data collected directly through this website. Privacy requests can be sent to mark@aiireland.ie or by post to Taylor’s Lane, The Liberties, Dublin 8, D08 YPP9, Ireland.

Personal data we may process

  • Information you provide: your name, email address, organisation, role and anything you include when you email us or request information.
  • Subscription information: an email address and related preferences if you choose to subscribe through WordPress.com.
  • Technical and usage data: WordPress.com and Jetpack Stats may process information such as an IP address, user agent, visited and referring URLs, event time, browser language and approximate country to operate, secure and measure the website.
  • Cookie information: details created by cookies or similar technologies, as explained in our Cookie Settings.

Why we use personal data

We process personal data to respond to enquiries, take requested steps before a potential engagement, operate and secure the website, understand aggregate website performance, manage subscriptions and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the activity, the legal basis is your consent, steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with a legal obligation or our legitimate interest in operating and improving the website and responding to genuine business enquiries.

Who receives the data?

The website is hosted by WordPress.com, which is operated by Automattic. Automattic provides hosting, security, subscription and Jetpack Stats functions. We may also share information with professional advisers or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required. We do not sell personal data.

Read Automattic’s Privacy Notice and the WordPress.com explanation of Jetpack Stats for more information.

International processing

WordPress.com and other service providers may process information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the relevant provider is responsible for using an approved transfer mechanism or other safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

How long we keep data

Business enquiries are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active relationship, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Subscription information is retained until you unsubscribe or it is otherwise deleted under the provider’s procedures. Technical analytics data is retained according to WordPress.com and Jetpack policies.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You may also raise a concern with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.

Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures, including WordPress.com security controls and HTTPS, to protect website data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, its services or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain on this page.
